BC SnowShop @ UNBC
NOVEMBER 5 - 6, 2026
The BC SnowShop is a two-day workshop focused on the science and management of British Columbia’s changing snowpack. Through presentations, collaborative discussions, and networking, participants will share current research and explore what changing snow conditions mean for provincial water management and hazard forecasting. The workshop takes place at UNBC, on the unceded territory of the Lheidlih T’enneh, and is funded by the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions though the UNBC Faculty of Environment.
Our workshop will combine presentations and guided discussions on observations, modelling, and impacts of a changing snowpack, with a goal to bring together snow researchers and professionals (and enthusiasts) from across BC.
